The staff was indeed helpful and friendly. our double room included tea and coffee facilities, a nice touch. i enjoyed a full scottish breakfast in the morning. It was quite delicious. the hotel's location made it easy to access nearby bars and restaurants.
i found the absence of a restaurant and bar, as advertised online, very disappointing. the bar had been moved to a makeshift area in reception. seating was limited and the options were just bottles and snacks. this did not align with the expectations set by the website.

good hotel near the ovo
free parking helpful staff individual toiletries
The location was excellent. restaurants and shops were close. free parking out the back was very convenient. staff was also very helpful. location was close to the ovo hydro arena, only ten minute walk. we also liked the individual toiletries. It was a nice touch.
the beds are very uncomfortable and we both struggled to sleep for our duration. the walls and ceilings are also paper thin and we were woken up several times by noise from the room next door and upstairs.

the hotel sits on a quiet street NEAR many restaurants and bars and close to the university. it is a very convenient base for exploring local historical sites. this place is great.

the room was clean and spacious, what i needed after travel.
the hotel took a security deposit. i did not see this mentioned when i booked, and it was a surprise. i had to wait for that money to be returned, an unwelcome hassle.

the staff were friendly and helpful . the location is convenient with many dining options available. the room was clean and the twin beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep.
i found the car park difficult to get into due to potholes and puddles making it a bit of a challenge.

i found the location really accessible to many attractions. the modern bathroom had great shower pressure. i appreciated the breakfast, it included tasty fry up options. the staff was helpful with directions, a definite plus!
I had some trouble with the car park. It felt a little tight. manoeuvring was tricky with limited space.
